Michelle is part of Friedman+Huey’s gift and estate tax team with over 13 years of experience practicing as an attorney focused on estate, trust, and gift tax planning and compliance. She implements strategies for many of the firm’s high net worth families helping them to maximize the wealth they can transfer to future generations while minimizing estate and gift tax liabilities.

Michelle is a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, DuPage County Estate Planning Council, and Illinois CPA Society and, leads the PrimeGlobal Trust, Estate, and Fiduciary Community of Practice (COP).

As a member of Illinois Prairie Path (a nonprofit focusing on rails-to-trails conversions), she and her husband cycle hundreds of miles each year. Michelle loves trying new culinary experiences, and in honor of the two cities she’s called home – Austin and Chicago – Tex-Mex and pizza are high on her list of favorites! A world traveler, she and her husband have traveled to Prague, Seychelles, and New Zealand among others.
