Principal

Margaret is a leader in Friedman+Huey’s Client Accounting Services team with almost 20 years of accounting experience. She provides high-level outsourced accounting services, advises on tax structuring and income tax planning, and creates custom solutions to help her business clients achieve their goals.

Margaret is a member of the AICPA and the Women’s Leadership Committee for the Illinois CPA Society. Active in its mentoring circle, Margaret is passionate about helping other women succeed.

A self-proclaimed enthusiast of the band Queen, a pet lover, and genuinely interested in people – she loves going to concerts, playing with her Goldendoodle, Amber, and reading biographies. Margaret is an ardent traveler and has visited much of Europe – she is always on the lookout for the next new and exciting destination! Other fun facts – she wants to witness a rocket launch in person and learn how to become a “serious” poker player.
