John Cremins, CPA, MST
Managing Partner
John is the Managing Partner of Friedman + Huey starting in 2021. He is a member of the firm’s executive committee, administers the firm’s partnership and corporate practices, and is the partner-in-charge of firm-wide staffing.
John joined the Firm in 2007 after spending 7 years at American Express / RSM McGladrey as a Director in their manufacturing, distribution & retail group, after spending the previous 5 years with Bansley & Kiener. Specializing in individual, corporate, partnership and estate taxation, John serves many of the firm’s large family groups and business owners.
John is a member of the AICPA and IL CPA Society. In his free time, he actively volunteers and is a board member for Victory Reins Therapeutic Riding Center, a non-profit organization that specializes in serving children and adults with physical, emotional, and spiritual disabilities.
When he’s not in the office, you can find John spending time with family and friends. He and his wife have two children who are both 15. He enjoys spending time with his kids especially watching their water polo matches and horseback riding lessons, and competitions. If it’s Sunday during football season, you’ll find John watching his beloved Chicago Bears! The Luck of the Irish – John enjoys family vacations, especially those that take him back to where his parents grew up – can you guess which country?
