John joined the Firm in 2001 after spending six years at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser (now part of RSM McGladrey), in their entrepreneurial services group (ESG). John specializes in individual taxation with a focus on high net worth individuals, their families, and also advising businesses. He manages the individual side of our firm’s bank practice where we are essentially the in-house tax department for various banks and law firms. John is a managing partner of the Frankfort office, heading the Frankfort internship program.

John is a member of the AICPA, IL CPA Society, and is active in the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.

An avid freshwater fisherman and outdoorsman, John has been in fishing competitions and one of his favorite past times is to build world class rods and restore collectable classic reels.  Also, John loves to be ice side at hockey games. One of his bucket list items is visiting and watching a game at every NHL arena.
