David “Dave” joined the Firm in 1990 after spending four years at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser (now RSM McGladrey) as head of their personal financial planning practice, and 10 years at Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young), in their personal tax practice. Dave specializes in individual taxation, personal financial planning issues, and family groups. As a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA), he is able to assist clients in receiving hidden Social Security benefits through complex claiming strategies.
Dave is a member of the AICPA, IL CPA Society, ICPA, and Chicago Estate Planning Counsel. He has also been a frequent guest lecturer, instructor at local universities, and spoken at various professional tax forums.

An avid dog lover and trainer, Dave has bred a Best in Show dog and has shown at Westminster. He would someday like to beat the “professionals” in the dog show ring. When not showing his dogs, you might find Dave driving his car at the racetrack.
