Mary Joyce and Benjamin Kramer Have Been Promoted!

Friedman+Huey is pleased to announce that Mary Joyce, CPA, MST, has been promoted to Principal and Benjamin Kramer, MAS, MIS, to Director of Technology.

Mary joined the Firm in 1998, specializing in income tax planning and compliance. She is instrumental in assisting high-net-worth individuals and their families, including attorneys, entrepreneurs, real estate professionals, and investors, with their tax plans. Mary co-developed the Firm’s executive program, focusing on partners in law firms and assisting new partners transitioning into their new role. She Leads our Firm’s Mentoring Committee, participates in our Women’s Leadership Committee and Marketing Committee, and is a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, and the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.

Benjamin started with the firm in 2010, and his passion for technology, along with his tax expertise, drove him to quickly become a leader of the Firm’s IT Services and Tax Technology efforts. Over the past decade, Benjamin has dedicated himself to finding innovative ways to bridge the gap between tax and IT, allowing us to better serve our clients. Spearheading F+H’s Innovation Committee, Benjamin collaborates with our vendors to develop efficient and user-friendly software solutions transforming the way we operate. As a founding member of the Thomson Reuters GoSystem Tax Customer Advisory Board, Benjamin is committed to shaping the future of accounting, making sure we are at the absolute forefront.
