Senior Tax Manager

Margaret is a leader in Friedman + Huey’s Client Accounting Services team with almost 20 years of accounting experience. She provides high-level outsourced accounting services, advises on tax structuring and income tax planning, and creates custom solutions to help her business clients achieve their goals. Margaret also has expertise in advising U.S. taxpayers on foreign tax issues and reporting requirements. 

Margaret is a member of the AICPA and serves as chairwoman of the Women’s Leadership Committee for the Illinois CPA Society. Active in its mentoring circle, Margaret is passionate about helping other women succeed. She brings this passion to F+H by co-leading the women’s initiative.

A self-proclaimed enthusiast of the band Queen, a pet lover, and genuinely interested in people – she loves going to concerts, playing with her Goldendoodle, Amber, and reading biographies. Margaret is an ardent traveler and has visited much of Europe – she is always on the lookout for the next new and exciting destination! Other fun facts – she wants to witness a rocket launch in person and learn how to become a “serious” poker player.
