Louis “Lou” joined the Firm in 1996 after spending nearly a decade at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser (now part of RSM McGladrey). Lou specializes in individual and partnership taxation, working on many of the firm’s real estate partnerships, investment partnerships, and high net worth families. Highly technical and a numbers guy, he is the partner in charge of the firm’s finances. Lou truly enjoys helping each of his clients to achieve their life goals and he is there with them each step of the way.

Lou is a member of the AICPA and IL CPA Society.

With three children, one grandchild, three rescue dogs, and two birds, it’s safe to say Lou is a true family man.  When not spending time with his family, you might find him on the slopes, the trails, or in the stands as he is an avid snow skier, enjoys hiking, and an Iowa Hawkeye’s football fan.
