Katie joined Friedman + Huey in 2015 with a background in wealth management, accounting, and tax services. She leads the Firm’s Family Office Group supporting many of the Firm’s high-net-worth families. Katie seamlessly collaborates between the F&H Family Office Group and the F+H Tax Team on all issues impacting tax compliance, planning, and strategy.      

Katie serves as a member on the Firm’s Family Office Services committee, where she influences not only how the Firm services high-net-worth families but also the overall client experience.

Despite being part of a huge Irish family having 37 cousins, Katie spends most of her time with her husband and two daughters enjoying baseball, camping, and concerts. When she’s not rooting for her beloved Chicago White Sox, sitting around a campfire, or cheering on her favorite bands, “Shinedown” and “Journey,” you might find her relaxing with family or bingeing a series on Netflix to recharge.

Because most of our partners are also teachers, having taught at local universities or professional societies and various forums, we are up to date on tax law issues and we bring the most current information to each engagement.
